UGO Player Website

UGO Player is a large collection of user-submitted Flash games. The site is completely cached page per page on an hourly basis. I added the rotating top story module at the top of the home page using Mootools. I also integrated FastESP search capabilities into the Website.

Joslin Diabetes Center provides valuable information about diabetes. I built the Diabetes informational Flash presentation. There are two tracks: one with sound and one without sound. I took the assets and built a navigational structure that allows the user to move through one slide to the next.

Animation Arcade is a Website that highlights user-submitted Flash animations. I re-engineered the PHP code to cache the entire site on an hourly basis using Smarty templates.

Yougo Website

Based on videoblog.ugo.com, Yougo is a souped up version of the video aggregation site. The custom-built CMS allows the administrator to build video collections and customize the look and feel of the site. Many of the user interface elements are customizable with targeted branding. The caching system builds the cache on an hourly basis. The cache pulls from the Brightcove API, which provides a JSON feed with collections of videos and tags. The release of this site has been postponed indefinitely.

Hough & Guidice Website

Hough & Guidice Realty was looking to build a Website that would incorporate MLS data into a new Website with an upgraded design and powerful search features. I built the main site with a custom CMS that allowed the administrator the ability to manage their listings and features of the Website. I also built a subscription service with the ability for individual Hough & Guidice offices to sign up for their own subdomains with the same features as the main site. This automated subscription service never went live. Recently, Hough & Guidice has redesigned their Website.

This blog aggregates all of UGO’s videos and presents them in a taggable and searchable manner. No database is used. The data, images and videos all come from Brightcove’s API. The groundwork for this blog was laid out by myself with the finishing touches added by another developer.
